Business Card Sized Computing

Well todays blog post is more out of excitement than anything else. Today we received 2 Raspberry Pi’s. No I am not about to show you a photo of some delicious bakery treat that we purchased but rather perhaps one of the coolest little bits of tech that I have seen in a long time. Introducing the Raspberry PI:

This amazing little circuit board is in fact a computer that sports 256mb RAM (more than most PCs pre 1995) and enough grunt to stream full HD content via its network port via the HDMI interface, all powered by a micro USB cable (Samsung Galaxy S2 phone charger).  All on a board the size of a standard business card!!! To say that is impressive is an understatement. More information on what we plan on doing with these shortly.
